i am back from phuket! this trip was both a failure and a success... failure as in there were quarrels and ppl being unhappy... success as in on the whole, i guess everyone enjoyed themselves in a way or another... haha... for me, i guess i had kinda alot of fun...

2june:
we went shopping ans sight-seeing today... shopping was kinda tiring but was fun... my cousins and i were playing and talking and laughing... teasing each other and looking at stuff, making fun of them... den we went for lunch... it was kinda horrible... the duck rice tasted lik chinese medicine and i only ate a little... my dad bought another bowl of noodles which taste lik maggie mee... haiz... nth was nice at the foodcourt... but, aunt treat us to ice-cream... at least the ice-cream tasted lik ice-cream... haha...

we went to the great Buddha after lunch... i slept the whole journey... haha... pig... den when i was awake, i saw the Buddha... jus nice, on time... it was very big on a hill... we went up to the hill and the wind was very strong... alot of sand flew into my eyes and mouth when i was talking... i ate kinda alot of sand... but it's alright... as long as my grandpa is happy, eating sand is nth... haha...

we went back to Patong Beach after sight-seeing... walking down the streets of patong beach, feeling the breeze caressing onto my face, the feeling was awesome... i really enjoyed walking... but was kinda tiring... haha...

3rdjune:
today is shuxuan's b'dae... happy birthday to her!!! i was homesick... missing my stuff and the ppl in sin... my grandma, my frenz and many more... feel lik flying back to sin straight...

we went for a swim in the morning den proceeded to the beach after breakfast... i didnt hav the energy to play at the beach so sat down with my aunt under the shade... chat on many things... da dao li... but i kinda learn alot...

shopping was the best part of today's journey! playing and fooling around with my dad... we went carefour and we were playing with the stuff, laughing lik we hav nvr been to carefour before... we were digging for nice rambutans from the box, pulling my dad's shirt here and there... den we walked passed the dog food section...
the conversation between the 5 of us (dad, mum, me, jinghui and kexin):
me: mummy, there's dog food here!
mum: ya, you want some? no, i shld buy you pig food instead!
dad: why pig? ... oh ya, she is a pig!
me: super mean...
(cousins laughing alr)
we went ahead and walked passed shelf which has the dog bowl.
dad: girl, you want? i buy you one (dog bowl)... den you can put all your food and eat from the bowl (lik a dog). you lik purple right?
me: the other 2girls?
dad: i buy for them too!
jinghui: huh?!
kexin: wad the?! we are not dogs!
i was laughing lik a mad person...
we walked and my dad saw sacks of dog food...
dad: you all wan dog food? i buy 1sack back for all of you to eat... but firstly, we gotta buy the small box to try...
kexin & jinghui: huh?! wad?!
we started playin with the box of dog food... my mum saw and she was lik i am bringing 4 children for a holiday instead of 3... super funny...
we bought alot of toothbrush and toothpaste... super funny... den my uncle and dad spent the same amt of momey but my uncle hav 4 to 5 bags and my dad only got a bag... haha...

dinner was a failure... grandpa was unhappy... he wanted to go back to the street hawker which we alr ate there for 2 nights... actually is not me... it's my parents and aunt and uncle... seeing my grandpa kinda sulky face, my spirits deepen too... haiz...

4june:
nth much happened today... quarrelled with my cousin kexin... so ended up, only jinghui and i went to phuket town with dad and uncle... the streets of phuket town was quiet but there was many cars travelling in the roads... as i walked passed the shophouses, i kinda start to reflect... thinking of how fortunate we are to be living in an urban country... with a wide range of technology, transportation and many studying opportunities... there were jobs available for everyone too... unlike phuket, many ppl got to leave their hometown in search for jobs to keep their family alive... they also depend alot on tourists... in terms of food and transportation... imagine if there is no tourists in phuket? how are the ppl gonna live? there were ppl begging on the streets for food too... haiz... very poor thing...

after this trip, i finally understand the meaning of 知足長樂... we are fortunate to be living in sin... so ppl, be happy with wad you hav...

home is still the best!
